Matt Gardner has been an elementary school PE teacher in Northern California since 2002. A graduate of the teaching credential program at Dominican University in San Rafael, California, Matt currently holds credentials in physical education, social science, and elementary education.
Matt’s teaching role extends beyond the playing field and gymnasium. He enjoys reaching out to incoming classroom teachers and encouraging them to get involved in teaching physical education. Matt also devotes time to organizing school events, such as field days and fundraisers.

Matt currently teaches PE at Rancho Elementary School in Novato, California.
Matt also shares his real-world expertise—and passion for creating positive PE experiences for children—through presentations and workshops.
